Console Lights

I have found a fix for the old style spring clip lights that come with the console gauges. I have had them fall out and get loose while re-installing the console . I 1st. tryed LED's but the light was too much directed in one place mainly the back of the gauge backing which did nothing but I found a fix and can be bought at Radio Shack. Here are the parts and pictures.Hope this helps saves someone some aggrevation down the road. They fit the 5/8" hole without modification, bolt right in.
I put on a dab of High Heat RTV for a thread lock. I was told the 3/16 female spades will fit it.Just be aware to put the flat part of the nut near the gauge terminal instead of the point of the nut for clearance.

Hey Skip, I was so pee'd off with these factory lights I almost ripped the console out ,this car is definately teaching me patience which I need. Closing in on 50, my wife tells me I am getting worse instead of better, scary part is I think she's right.
