Console gauges: need pic

I need a pic of the back of the console gauges, to show which wires connect to each gauge. I'm adding gauges, and neither the gauges I bought, nor the console wiring harnass I bought, show any detail of exactly which connectors go to which gauges. Thanks - Mark

Mark are you talking OEM gauges or aftermarket? What yr. car are you working on? I added console gauges on my 69 that did not have gauges originally. I wired mine by doing a search on "daisy chain". I think it was Jim that explained how to do it.

It's a 69, originally a column shift, now a floor shift. I bought the OEM gauges from Rick's and the 2-piece conversion harnass kit from classic industries. The gauges came dis-assembled, with no instructions. The wiring harnass doesn't use the correct colored wires from what they were originally. My specific issue is which connectors go to which gauges, and also the orientation of the metal gauge connectors on the back of the gauge cluster. And finally, I'm not seeing where the gauge harnass plugs into anything. I will do a search on the dasiy chain. Thanks - Mark

There are some reference materials here http://www.gvtc.com/~rlaa/ that may help.

If you dont have the AIM, better invest in one, they are invaluable. Here is page from it with original setup. Not sure about aftermarket or conversion but it might help.

With all else said I recall the shape of the connectors made most of the hookup fairly easy...

Re: Console gauges: need pic

Jim - thanks for reminding me of the AIM; I have one, but forgot to look in it. I think I can figure it out from here. Just need to take my time. Thanks all for the help.
