67 Underhood lamp

Can anyone here tell me which lamp is the one that was used for the 67 Camaro.
Pretty sure it is one of these 2 styles.
The rear wire attachment is different.

What I know to be fact is that the left one - I pulled from a 67 Nova myself.
The one on the right is part number listed as correct for 57 Chevrolet.

Just wanted a few people to take a look at their 1967 cars and see what they find
68 and later are completely different - this is a "67 only" thing

Re: 67 Underhood lamp

I believe mine only had one (1) wire to the lamp base and grounded through the hinge(s).
I remember having to shake the hood open and closed a few times to get it to go on as the car got older - bad ground I guess...
The one on my late 70's GM truck works the same way, gotta shack the hood up & down a few times to get the lamp to come on brightly - I really could just add a ground wire, just lazy I guess

If a man says something in the garage - and his wife can't hear him - is he still wrong !!!
