Red face Help a bonehead out?

I was taking my gauge cluster apart on the bench to clean it all up again and like a bonehead, I took the fuel gauge out without taking pictures of how the 3 electrical contacts, insulator and resister go back together. I tried to keep it all together as one group but it fell apart.

I know the insulator block goes on top of the 3-hole contact, and the resistor goes on the 2 poles last, but I can't remember how the two single side contacts went together.
Do they go on top of the insulator block, or under it and on top of the 3-hole contact? And which direction do they face? In or out?

If someone has a pic, that would explain everything.

Thanks

Re: Help a bonehead out?

Hah, I have trouble with that too.

All connector blades are horizontal, The side terminals sit on top of the insulator facing inward. then resistor bar, lock washer, nut.

Re: Help a bonehead out?

Horizontal! I didn't try that! LOL!!!
That seems like it'll work.... I knew they weren't too far apart or too close together. Horizontal would put them in the right spots. I could have fished the wiring harness out but it's buried in the shop somewhere.
Thanks Kevin..... saved the day!
