What to do with old/broken components?

Okay; so I've been posting about my ignition problems with quite frequency. Thanks to everyone for helping me forge through this. So a new distributor, a new coil, and now a new ignition box (yet to arrive) later, and I should be on the road. Sooo what do I do with all the old/broken stuff? I have no idea what I did with the coil, but I have the old Mallory distributor, which probably just needs a new module, and the MSD 6AL box that I fried with an alternator overload. I'd sure as heck hate to throw it all in the trash.

............Call MSD and see if they could/would check out that 6AL ignition for 'ya....it might not take much to repair it and then you'll have a spare ignition if needed.
