Question Turn signal indacator lights in the dash

A question for the experts. I am just finishing putting together my 67 Camaro. I have got the dash all back together (had the speedo and tach redone by Redline down south) and i got the car running on Sunday and i noticed that when i pull the lights on the two green arrows at the bottom of the speedo and tach for the turn signal indicators come on,the turn signals work fornt and back but the arrorows are always on if the lights are on.The 4 ways do not at the moment for some reason. The only thing i cahnged under there was i installed a diode wire in the headlight switch for the doors on the head lights. Any insight on this would be greatly appreaciated. Mike

Re: Turn signal indacator lights in the dash

I had that problem last year and it turned out to be the ground....it was the top center screw holding the dash panel has a wire behind it that grounds everything. Try cleaning and tightening that up.

Re: Turn signal indacator lights in the dash

It is actually a hard piece of steel and makes a loop around the top center screw....if you do a search in this forum it is mentioned quite a few times..
