Msd

Does anyone know if I can just remove the cap and wires and replace with a factory style cap and wires color black?(Want a factory look)

I doubt it, but others will know for sure. But you could remove the cap and paint it black. I believe Walmart sells paint for painting plastics.

As far as I know the standard factory cap fits Never tried it though.
Msd also make a black cap #MSD-84333 and I usually buy a roll of MSD 8.5 Black and make my own wires.

MSD 8437 is a very dark red color and will work with your distributor. It's designed for the original socket style plug wires. I use them on my cars because they look pretty close to original.

Stock black socket style cap with the window in it will work, no issues.

I haven't seen too many caps with HEI terminals for a small body distributor that were not some shade of red. Just beware that some of the suggestions above are non HEI style caps. I'm not sure if you'd have any problems using a non HEI cap on an electronic ignition. You'd definately have to change those wires to match the cap though.
