Question Missing Fusible Link?

On a 1968 V8 Camaro, should there be a fusible link in the hot wire before connecting to the junction lug behind the battery? Mine does not have one. What gauge fusible link should be in this wire if mine is missing? Thanks!

Re: Missing Fusible Link?

The red wire that runs from the horn relay to that junction lug does not have a fusible link.

OEM battery cables have one built into the wire that goes from the battery terminal to the junction lug.
