Re: Any pics of a wiring harness complete

I have 69s, so I cant help you specifically, but I just finished restoring (splicing new wires and rewrapping) my main harness (actually I restored ALL of the harnesses).

So, locate the fuse panel, that goes in 1st then after that each componenet plug is mostly unique and is a specific location. Once you have the harnes in the proper location, just take a loose wire and match the connector to a component that is nearby without undo strain on the wire. Luck!

The other way is to find the wire color on the charts and follow them to the end where there should be words on what the component is. Then match the wire colors to the chart.

You could list the wire colors of the mystery ones and thier approx location in your reply and I am sure we can help.

Not to hijack this thread but..I'm in the middle of rewiring my car with an AAW update kit. (Actually I should say that I'm WIRING the car since there wasn't any wiring to begin with! ) A picture of how the wiring is run under the dash would help allot!

Armondo,I am in the middle of putting in my aaw kit in now> I will try to get some pics up soon. I put the resto kit in, so its pretty simple.Just trying to match up the 'rats nest' that i'm pulling out and marking the new wires with tape. They just plug right in.
