Wiring radio to fuse box

i am wiring an after market radio into my 69 and all of the radio wires are gone. can i just hook a wire into the acc port on the fuse block for power to the radio and hook one wire to the battery port for memory? if i do it this way will the radio be fused or will it mater since the radio has a fuse on the back?
Thanks

Re: Wiring radio to fuse box

An aftermarket radio should already have fuses so hooking it up this way should be fine.
