Instrument lights and blinkers not working?? Help

i replaced my dash harness with a new circuit board in my 67 camaro. When i tried it, my tach works but not my instrument lights or turn signals on the display? Would this be a circuit board failure even if the tach is working? or a ground? anyone have some ideas for me , would be a big help. thanks.

This is nearly always the ground. There is a metal tab that runs from one of the circuit board screws to the high beam light. Then another metal tab from the high beam light up to the center screw that secures the cluster to the dash structure.

Clean the paint off where that center screw goes into the dash.

Make sure the high beam light is assembled properly, the red lens first, then the 2 metal ground straps, then the socket. If the red lens is between any of the metal parts you will not get a ground.

so the ground strap goes from the high beam light area to the center screw that secures the dash carrier assembly to the dash? So it doesnt directly come form the back of the circuit board? Thanks for the help

There are 2 straps. one peice goes from the pcb to the high beam light, second from there to the top of the dash.

Alot of times those ground straps are flattened to the point that they will not make good contact to the metal!.....In that case, simply run a seperate ground wire from the instrument panel to metal under the dash.
