Converting vacuum RS to electric

I am restoring a 68 conv SS/RS and i am converting the vacuum system to the new elec. door opening system. It told me to remove the overcenter springs for this system. I am still using the bellcrank support brackets but I am missing the bushings for the bellcrank so when I move the doors it is very wobbly and rubs against the bracket hole. Can someone tell me where I can get these bushings? Has anyone done this conversion? I am just in the process of doing the wiring with an all new harness kit from American. Very good kit but they should supply at least the light sockets pre-wired. Any help I can get would be appreciated.
Thanks,
JeffsSS

Re: Converting vacuum RS to electric

You can get the bushings from just about all the after market part places like Classic, Rick's, Ground up. Also, check into the Retro-Electro RS Light Door kit. I and others have used it and we all love it. Here is a thread I put together on the install.

Re: Converting vacuum RS to electric

Thanks Matt! I already purchased the system from Ground Up but they were unable to tell me what grommet kit to buy to get the correct parts. I had purchased a grommet kit from Rick's but it was only for the doors. I just purchased the kit from Ground Up because it has more pieces to it which I suspect will be the correct ones. This is a great forum and I am looking forward to following here and hopefully contributing.
Thanks again!
Jeff
