Should the small fuse be a SFE 4

Would like to know if the small fuse at the bottom of my fuse box on my 69 Camaro coupe use a SFE 4 fuse. The function and size for the fuse has been wiped off over the years. So now I'm not sure what it calls for but that is the size in the holder.

Also why do some fuses have a thin wire and others have a thick flat piece of metal?

That fuse is for the instrument lamps and it should be an SFE 4.
The amperage of the fuse determines the size of wire in the tube.

Also does anyone make a SFE 10 or SFE 25 fuse and if not what size should I use?

Re: Should the small fuse be a SFE 4

Is there a way to test a glass fuse to see if its good, or how to test the terminal in the fuse box for power?
