Ign what should come on?

When you turn the key to the first position, what should come on ? Eg the oil light? Does anything buzz?

I read on DR classic the key ign switch buzzes?

My car does nothing.

Re: Ign what should come on?

Ign ON, GEN light on, OIL light, and radio, blower, wipers, if turned on.

The horn relay buzzes when ign is off and key is in the ign switch, providing the pink wire is connected.

Re: Ign what should come on?

I think the oil is out due the unit being removed for a guage. Where is the gen light located?

At the bottom of the fuel gauge pod, the left hand black square, is GEN light.
The OIL light is the right hand black square.

Re: Ign what should come on?

Mine is a tic toc tac with gauges in the center consol. Speedo has oil and brake light. I think tic toc only has the right turn signal in it.

With console gauges, no GEN light.
