need help with my aftermarket wiring harness

ok so i have a 67 camaro and the guy i bought it from started installing an EZ-WIRING harness...he already wired up the engine bay, headlight and tailights, the only thing he didn't do is wire up dash components...now...with the ez-wiring harness it just gave me a bunch of wires and i guess i have to use my old clips and plugs...now...what's the best way for me to connect my new wiring harness to my old clips/connectors??? my dad's friend was gonna help me wire it up and wanted to use a bunch of the splicing connectors that you crimp but..i didn't think it was right to use a new wiring harness and still use the old connectors and a piece of the old wire...and i didn't really want to add crimps to all my wires...what do you guys recommend i do??? i have a bunch of open wires...and i have my original wiring harness to work with...what's the best way to use my old connectors?

Re: need help with my aftermarket wiring harness

Best way to join the two together is to cut off the OE clips/connectors with a 3-4 pigtail and solder them together followed by heat shrink for protection.

Only shrink the heat shrink after hooking up the harness to make sure it works in case a reppair needs to take place.
