67 Turn Signal Does Not Blink

The left front turn signal on my 1967 does not blink, and the left front flasher does not flash. The left front parking light does work. All other lights work and flash correctly. Installed new bulb - no fix. Any ideas on what may be causing this problem? Thanks!!!

Did you check the ground wire?

Scott,

This is my first Camaro. Can you help me where to locate and check the ground?

Thanks!

Re: 67 Turn Signal Does Not Blink

Check out this pic. It might help. The black with with the ring at the end is the ground.

Take the bolt/screw out of the ring and clean both thr ring and the mounting point with sandpaper. Make it nice and clean - meaning - no rust.

When you put it back, I'd use one these (star washer) if it already doesn't have it on there.

Re: 67 Turn Signal Does Not Blink

Certainly. There is a black wire on the back of the lamp housing that attaches to the headlight housing.

Check/clean all the connections while you have your head in there. Junction block behind battery, connections at the horn relay and voltage regulator and all the other grounds.

Had the same problem. Connector behind the light had some gunk in it. Separated the connector, a few swipes with a toothbrush, good as new. I put some dielectric grease in there to keep the goblins out.
