Nuetral safety switch, 4sp

Probably a very naive question, but I thought I'd completed the engine wiring portion of my AAW classic update on a '68 4 speed car. Then I realized the few remaining wires still not connected to anything: Purple 14ga neutral safety switch, green 18ga backup lamps and a couple others - for an auto trans car. So, what to do with the NSS? Thanks for your answers, I'll reread again the instructions to see if I can find the answer there.

68's didn't have a NSS for 4 speeds. The backup lights go into the fire wall hole and then the pigtail from the tranny switch plugs into this from the engine side of the firewall.

1968 Z28 British Green, all original except CE 302 engine. Have original owners booklet and protect-o-plate.

You might have to jumper across the purple & purple/white wires to engage starter.

Harvard is correct. No neutral safety switch for '68 4-speed cars. Just connect your two purple wires together.
