What is this Trico thing?

I'm starting to sort out all the boxes of parts for my 68 and found this little jewel. I disassembled the car way before such things as digital cameras and will probably post a few more What's This? It has a terminal each side and nubs for vacuum lines or washer lines? Says Trico and Made in England on the bottom. Thanks!!

Re: What is this Trico thing?

Trico is a big maker of windshield wiper and washer pasts. I couldn't find what you have here on the net but this looks like a universal windshield washer pump that Trico sells to replace a oem pump that has stopped working.

Re: What is this Trico thing?

Those are nice guesses. I couldn't find anything on the net either or in any of my Camaro catalogs. This is why I'm hoping someone here has actually seen one and can tell me what it is. Any pump I've ever seen has three spots for lines to attach. I'm hoping for someone who has actually seen one of these.

Re: What is this Trico thing?

That is a electric washer pump.
Long discontinued. Replacement was a universal unit.

I believe the electric ones were used in real cold environments. (This is a assumption, not fact)

Re: What is this Trico thing?

I was kinda hoping it was one of them rare solenoids used on the head lamp washers. Oh well. I took it apart and see now how it operates. The motor turns a small wheel with vanes pumping in one end and out the other. Thanks for all the correct repsonses, guys.
