Shifter wires

Im trying to put my console back to stock i have a horseshoe shift or staple shifter any body know where the wires plug into the shifter ive go 2 one is grn the other looks grey i see 4 posts on the side of the shifter ????? Im not yelling i love cap.letters.

There should be one purple wire, one purple with a white tracer for the neutral safety circuit. There should be a pink wire and a light green wire for the backup lights. The gray wire is for the shift plate lights.

It's okay to shout about a BLOWN 572

The 'Gray' is for the lights in the gauges.
The 'Green' is for the rear console light that comes on with interior lights when doors are opened.

The 2 front plugs are for the neutral safety switch (purple wires)

68 RS Coupe 355/350 TH, Detroit Speed, Hotchkis, Vintage Air, 8.5" 3.42 posi 10-bolt, MagnaFlow 2 1/2" exhaust, etc.

The 2 wires described above look like a heavyer gage then the rest and r tied together. The pink wire is live whn i put a tester light to it. Thanx for all the info.:d:d
