Light switch

i get small shock when i turn on my lights on my 67 everything new engine, harness etc when i turn then on the gages also peg any suggestions

Bad ground almost for sure. Double check the switch is gounded well to the dash and the ground strap attached to the instrument cluster that grounds under the upper center screw for the gauge cluster is intact and making bare metal contact. If the dash has been recently painted or is rusty that would be my guess. Pretty common 67-68 issue.

Take a jumper wire, touch your door sill plate to the metal dash, lights knob, etc to see if your gauges settle down.
