1969 Console ammeter wiring

Does anyone know where to get a schematic or wiring diagram for the ammeter in the console gauge cluster. I am presently running a one wire alternator due to a opening in the ammeter circuit. I have the assembly manual, with the schematic, but wonder if there is on for the ammeter itself. Thanks, Roy

Re: !969 Console ammeter wiring

Thanks for the wiring diagram. It sure helps. Is there any diagrams for the ammeter itself, or is it just thre two wirers?

Re: !969 Console ammeter wiring

Just two wires for the gauge, OE design. The hookup of the ammeter is a wire to the horn relay buss bar and the other gauge lead to the junction block next to the battery.

The OE ammeter measured the millvolt drop of the wire from one point to the other.
