New Battery

I am sure you have had this question before, but I need a battery. 69, small block 350, 400 HP , 4 speed ,battery tray is stock, top mount post. I have looked on the internet , but they seem to go back to only 81. Could you give me some brands ,model numbers and cold cranking ratings that will fit so I can compare and buy one. Thanks

Re: New Battery

I'm pretty sure what you want is a Group 24. Any auto parts place should have one in that size. You just need to decide what warranty and CCA you want or need. If ya want something that looks original I suggest you look at www.restorationbattery.com

Re: New Battery

Stock tray might fit a Group 27 size, measure tray before buying just to be sure.
I would get a min 650 CCA.
