Red face 1967 Complete new wiring harnesses has plugs installed backwards!?!

OK, I'll start by saying that I am by no means an expert and I have limited electrical experience.
This is a 1967 327 V8, 4 speed, console gauges, in dash Tach
In December I ordered a complete Factory Fit wiring harness from Heartbeat City. I ordered the Front Light Harness, Engine harness, Under dash harness, and console gauge harness. Basically I'm replacing all but the wires that go to the back of the car. I was just trying to replace the original console gauges and one thing led to another and walla!
Anyways I was replacing the front light harness and engine one wire at a time and taking my time to do it right the first time. Once I had all of the wires in I connected the battery and the headlights came on, hideaway doors stayed shut, and the four way flashers were flashing!!
Long story short it came down to the wiring harness that came from the front light harness had the plug installed upside down. (See attached pictures) I took me FOREVER to find the issue!
I contacted Heartbeat City and they forwarded me onto Factory Fit. After the pictures they asked me to return the harness? It's already installed, am I really expected to return the harness after I have it routed in my car?
What would you guys do?
To add insult to injury I also had issues with the console gauges not being lit and courtesy light being on all the time...guess what, that plug was unside down too or one could say that both ends of the under dash harness was wrong on both ends, Either way.....
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
It all works now but it took me almost 7 weeks to straighten this all out....
Thanks Fellas!

I would tell them what you went through to get it all working correctly and say you would like to report on this forum that they made it right by compensating you for your time with a significant refund.

Return the harness and listen to the offer they make, then counter-offer.

Re: 1967 Complete new wiring harnesses has plugs installed backwards!?

Thanks for the info so far...
Just FYI the Factory Fit and Heartbeat City Part numbers were as follows;
Engine Factory Fit #CA71982 Heartbeat City #ELC1076
Dash Factory Fit #CA71286 Heartbeat City #ELC1107
Light Factory Fit #CA72098 Heartbeat City #ELC1089
Console Factory Fit #CA70657 Heartbeat City #ELC1159

Right now I think that the dash harness was put together unsiude down on both ends?

Re: 1967 Complete new wiring harnesses has plugs installed backwards!?

I think the whole thing is resolved. I was contacted by Factory fit and they were very professional and courtious...and apologetic. I guess I understand that accidents happen?
They are compensating me the additional work that it took on my end and I got great customer service from those guys!
