DSE Multi Speed Wiper Wiring

I just got my new Detroit Speed wiper motor. It comes with a new loom for the wiper and rotary switch.

My question is what have people done with the old wiring ie under the dash from the old switch and also on the firewall end. Did you run a new feed to the wiper switch or use one of the existing wires from the old switch?
