Exclamation LED tail & parking lamps on 67 camaro

Just getting my 67 back from the paint shop and would like to put led lights on the tail and park lamp. I see a kit online that goes in the place of the bulb in the tail lamp on a standard camaro for about 90 bucks. it is a plate with i believe 14 led lamps in it. Has anyone used one and how did it work. I also see led bulbs that replace the standard bulbs. Will these work and do any more wiring revisions have to be made? Is there much difference in brightness? What about replacing the sealed beam headlamps with the replaceable halogen bulbs? Too many questions? Thanks!

Do a bit of searching on here and you will find a bunch of info... I thought about the conversion myself. But since I changed my mind, I don't have the info at hand.

Re: LED tail & parking lamps on 67 camaro

I'd say go for it. I have the LED tail lights and parking lights on my 67 and its one of my most favorite mods I have done to it other than the 3 point harness from Morris.
I went with them for safety. I got the RS LED tail lights although my car is not a real RS. The reason I did this is because I wanted the full tail light to be the brake and turn signal instead of the half and the other half the back up light. So I lost the back up light, I don't really care. Let me tell you, they are extremely bright and in your face and I love it because it alerts the drivers behind you. They have a soft glow with the parking lights lit and are very bright when you hit the brake or use your turn signal.
The front parking lights are just as nice. Same deal, they have a nice glow when lit as a parking light and they are extremely bright when you hit the turn signal.
Don't forget you'll need a new digital flasher when you replace them, it just replaces the stock flasher and has a ground lead off of it that you just have to ground.
I got all mine from Musclerodz.com. Great guy to deal with.
