Horn Coil Resistance

I have a couple horns that are not working - age and corrosion most likely. Before I rebuild them does anyone know if there is a resistance range that I should read between the spade conector and case? It is my understanding that there is a coil inside the horn body and if this is electrically open I should not bother rebuilding.

Thanks,

Jereme
