battery goes dead

I have found the problem but don't know how to fix it. Wanted to see if anyone has any ideas? Car would have a charged battery and in the morning it would be dead. Could'nt figure out what the problem was but I did find out that if I pull the white wire out of the wire harness that is front to rear I will not lose power. It does however keep my console light from working when the door is open? Any help or info would be great. Thank you.

Re: battery goes dead

Im not sure where the white wire goes? On the wiring diagram it shows its a ground? When I open the door the light at the back of the console the light used to come on. Now that I unplugged the white wire that light no longer comes on. The other lights in the console still work. My dome light has never worked since I bought the car so My guess is that the wire has something to do with the switch in the door that is off when the door is closed and on when its open??

Re: battery goes dead

My thoughts are these:
For courtesy light power orange wire,
white wire on other side of socket, is ground via dome light switch at door jam(s).
