battery tender

In the most simplistic way possible how do i go about safely connecting my battery tender to my 68 camaros dead battery?(there are drains all over so this is a fix for now- thanx for all the help

My battery is in the trunk and this is the one I have....

I have it conected hard to the battery with a 7.5 amp fuze.If you try to start car with it plugged in it will blow the fuze...

the one you have is the jr- i have the battery tender plus does it make a differance

Nope. I have the plus. Use them on everything my company owns. Bobcats, mini excavator, mowers, trucks etc and yes my camaro. They work good

I have mounted power jacks on my stuff, and the single tender I have moves around between mower/harley/cars

A battery tender is no substitute for a real charger. You need to give a dead battery some juice to properly charge it. However, once charged, the tender will overcome the self-discharge and keep the battery up to snuff.
