Ignition Problem - American Autowire - 67 Camaro

This evening I finished wiring my engine compartment (I have yet to wire the front end harness) but I wanted to see if I was on the right track and see if the motor would turn over. The only thing that seems to be getting power when I turn the key over is the wipers, the cigarette lighter also works. Ive checked the fuses everything looks good, its confusing because you have to have the key on for the wipers to work and they do but nothing else happens. My gauge lights nor my heater will come on with the key turned over, I dont have a radio installed right now so not sure about it. It sort of makes me think there is something wrong with the ignition but the wipers work and they are wired into the ignition. I took the switch out and checked all the connections they seem to be making contact.

Check the fuse box and see if you are getting power to the terminals. Then check your grounds. Did you hook up the wire going to the terminal block down behind the battery on the radiator support. Make sure youu have the right wires hooked up to the ignition. When you switch on the key to start, it should power up everything... Where are you at in KY? I am in Winchester...

I live in Morehead. When you say wire going from terminal block are you talking about a ground? I grounded my - batery cable to my head on engine, there is another ground jumper wire that goes from frame rail to firewall on passenger side. Is this good enough, or do I need to so something else. ANY help you can give is much appreciated, any idea is better than what I have which is nothing.
