Wiring for Headlight Switches

1967 R/S Sorry I forgot to put on Post.

Ok, Here we go.
In the top right corner is a grey wire that attaches to one of the top connectors on the passenger hide-away-light switches on the 67 Camaro. This wire I have in the correct location and I even remember it.
I remember having this problem many years back that I am explaining now. Again, you are looking at the passenger headlight location. See the green wire I have coming through here. The wire is supposed to connect to the exposed terminal right above it (which is the bottom of the switch). The other large wire coming out of the hole is obviously the headlamp wire. I know where it goes. LOL!!! WHAT IS THE ROUTE OF THE GREEN WIRE THAT ATTACHES TO THE SWITCH TERMINAL Bottom? I have been looking at this for 2 hours and I am thinking of plastic explosives. It will connect real nice right now but I am pretty sure this is NOT the correct route. Thanks in advance for your help.

A different way of asking the question and I will go to the wiring diagrams also:
Let's look at the drivers side this time, same problem. There is a switch CLOSE to the Headlight bulb, what wire color is on top and what wire color is on bottom of this close one. Then, still on Drivers side is one FARTHER away from the Headlight bulb. What color is on TOP and what color is on bottom for that one. Maybe the problem is that I have the wrong wires hooked up and that is creating my problems with the length(s). So now I'm headed to wiring diagrams and details. Don't you hate it when you spend this extra time on something you already have written down somewhere?

Re: Wiring for Headlight Switches

I believe the grreen wire would go behind the bucket and be routed next to the gray wire and attach to the spade.
You can't have any wires as they are positioned now because of the headlamp and the headlamp ring having a sharp edge on it and eventually rubbing the isolation off the wire.

Re: Wiring for Headlight Switches

Everett,
Thanks, I already knew that it did not go through there as i stated above. It does not run throught the same spot as the TOP wire, its just not long enough to come back down and I can think of no other location to run the wire. I am totally stumped.

I think I have it!!!!!!!!!!
Someone Can Confirm if they know.
Drivers Side Closest to Headlamp: BOTH come through the that is above this Switch behind the Headlight Plate attached to Radiator Support. This is same on Passenger Side Also.
For Both Farthest from the Headlights I had to pull the Wire Harness to give myself a little more slack and could hood up relatively easy. Unless someone tells me i'm wrong, I will post pictures soon.

Re: Wiring for Headlight Switches

Oh, Everett,
I forgot to tell you that you were right on that they BOTH run behind the Bucket on the support in the same route. Wanted to make sure that everyone got that from above. I think knowing that you thought they BOTH went there, made me stick with it. Thanks for the help.
