dome light,cig.lighter

Hello, Can anyone please tell me what color wire is coming out of the fuse panel to power up the circuit for the dome light, cig.lighter, etc? Also, does it go directly to the light switch from the fuse panel? How does it get to the cig. lighter and glove box from that point? thanks for everyones help

Re: dome light,cig.lighter

You need a wiring diagram for the year of your car. The power feed wire to the dome and Cig lighter is orange. The dome light will also have a white wire. The door and H/L switches ground the white wire to turn it on. This should be just enough info to get you in trouble!

Re: dome light,cig.lighter

Try a page from my diagrams.

The orange wire goes directly to a splice them splits to the cigarette lighter and dome light circuits. The orange wire at the light switch is for the parking light circuit.
