What Voltage regulator?

What # Delco Remy Volt. regulator fits my 69 z28 302?

It's a 515 and they are date coded. If originality is your goal.

VR715 unit is best, its electronic and the original cover box goes over it perfectly.

Solved my problems. I have 3 new Delcos I tried that would not maintain the voltage. Adjustment would could have corrected them but the 715 serves it's purpose well. Originality in this aspect was not an issue.
