Electric Oil Pressure Gauge?

Recently the oil pressure gauge on my 69 Camaro with center console developed a leak and destroyed the front carpets. I replaced the gauge and carpeting but am concerned this might happen again.
Does anyone know if there is a conversion to electric available for this console gauge?

Wink Re: Electric Oil Pressure Gauge?

I don't know of any supplier that sells a 'retrofit' electric gauge that fits Factory gauges.

Auto Meter sells them for conventional round applications, I use a lot of them on marine applications (that would be a lot of plumbing otherwise ...).

There is a aftermarket pod that mounts to the 68~69 consol (factory gauge area) that will mount four (4) gauges.
I have one for my car, but have never installed, used the gauges I bought on a friends boat ...
I got mine from Local Vic Hubbard, but Summit, Jegs and others sell them also - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-10002/

Re: Electric Oil Pressure Gauge?

Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. Don't know which direction I'll take if any. Would like to keep console original. Hopefully, the new replacement gauge will hold up.
