passenger side pin switch

hi, does anyone know where the ground wire that is attached to the passenger pin switch terminate and how does it get there? Can the pin switch be removed without taking the kick panel off? thank you ,Bob

Re: passenger side pin switch

Pin switch? Do you mean the dome light switch?
The switch unscrews from the jam.
An open door closes the switch because the switch body is the ground the circuit needs.
With a closed door, there will be battery voltage present.
Ground the body and completes the circuit.
