Two questions, door switches, headlight switch

I have towo questions. I need to put in my dome light button that go down by the kick panels, that when the door is opened the dome light comes on. I see that they list a 1 terminal and a 2 terminal. I have my old kick panels out, and one side looks to have two wire in there and the other side has only one, is this what they are refering to. Second question, I am having a new dash carrier installed in my 1969 Camaro, would this be a good time to change the headlight switch or can it be replaced with the dash carrier installed, the current one works fine but figured if it has to be replaced with the carrier out, then do it then. I am having a shop do the dash carrier as I cannot, eventhough I did the motor and new front suspension. Thanks, Jerod

Re: Two questions, door switches, headlight switch

Question 1: Yes, two prong for the drvr door, single for pass door.
Question 2: Switch can be replaced with dash installed, a little harder to perform compared to dash out and sitting on a bench or lap.
