Low cost coolant temperature switch for electric fan?

I am putting 2 Spal 11" electric fans in my car. I have relays for them but would like to use a temperature switch to turn them on and off. I would like to use two different temperature switches with different set points so that one comes on before the other.

I found a few options on Summit but they are all about $40 for the ones that list the switch temperature. They have cheaper ones but they don't list the on or off temperatures. Has anyone found a cheaper option for temp switches?

Re: Low cost coolant temperature switch for electric fan?

I have used the temp switches that come in the kits that mount in the heads. I have not had good luck with them,, some dont even work.

I use the Dakota Digitial fan controller and it has adjustable set points. You will have to add a second relay for 2 fans. Good thing about it is if it goes bad the fans default to run.

It does cost over a 100.00 and comes with the single sending unit.
