Ignition coil condensor was part of the "radio package

I know the ignition coil condensor was part of the "radio package" to reduce interference on AM radio. My car came with a factory Am/FM radio, should it have came from the factory with the condensor on the coil?

Did all radios have a capacitor on the voltage regulator, heater motor and ignition coil?

Re: Ignition coil condensor was part of the "radio package

My AM came with one on the coil and one on the regulator, none on the heater motor. I believe the heater motor was part of the AM/FM Stereo package, but could be wrong.
