Pertronix Second Strike Unit installed
I installed a Pertronix Second Strike Ignition system in my '68 today.
I was debating this system versus the MSD 6AL unit. For me, the Pertronix was a better fit.
After installing the Petronix unit, I definitely noticed an improvement in the idle stability, a crisper response and I would say the car feels peppier at the lower RPMs. Haven't had much chance to play with the second strike delay feature. Or the Rev Limiter...but so far it's got a thumbs up from me.
Didn't want to take any chances and guess with my TIC TOC TAC so I purchased a Summit TAC adapter. A little pricey but works flawlessly.
