Just getting done rewiring the tail end of the car, and everything seemed to work fine until I was using the turn signals and pushed down on the brake pedal ,and no brake lights!!! When I shut the turn signal off and push the brake pedal down the brake lights work fine !!! This is the same with or with out the park lights on !!!! Is this the way the worked from the factory ???

Re: 67 camaro tailight problem

Ok , went back out and messed with it some more and got it working !!! Its in the steering wheel turn switch !!! when I turn it to the left or right, if I pull it back a little the brake lights work !!! Is there a way to take it apart and clean the contacts ,or maybe try some contact cleaner on it ?????

Re: 67 camaro tailight problem

you are better off just replacing the cam as they wear and if the original it is over due and cleaning is not the fix.
