Heater control light out 69

69 with Vinage Air. Originally a no A/C car. Heater control light is out. All other lights working. What is the best way to acess the area where the light should be to see if the light is out, to see if there is a bulb socket at all, or if there is some other problem? Thanks

Re: Heater control light out 69

Mine is a A/C car but I'd think it's basically the same. If so then to keep from standing on your head remove the ash tray assembly. There's a couple of screws at the top and bottom then it will come out with some effort. The bulb socket should be towards the bottom of the control assembly.

Edit: Sorry, you said Vintage air so I guess the control unit is changed. It still may help to remove the ash tray unit but I have no idea where the bulb would be.

Re: Heater control light out 69

Thanks. I will give it a try. I believe that I saw a couple of A/C ducts between the ashtray and the heater control. That's why I mentioned the Vintage A/C. I'll check it out anyway.
