Mystery Wire - 67' Convertible

I just discovered this single black wire that runs under the passenger side sill in the factory convoluted tubing. It originates under the dash and ends right about in the center of the back seat.

The connector would accept a flat spade.

This car has a manual top, but the wire reaches just about to where a power top motor would be.

I can't find any reference to it in the AIM?

Any Ideas?

Possibly the rear speaker, as that is the location of the wire for my 67 convert's rear speaker. Do you have the fader switch at the radio? Just my thoughts.
