first gen engine harness connector pins

Does anyone know the form factor of the original harness connector for the engine harness at the firewall.

I would like to replace the entire resistor wire with a new one. This would require replacing the pin in the connector as well.

Anyone have a link to where I can get a new pin?

Try searching here for "packard". I seem to recall that they were the terminal supplier, and it has been discussed here where to find new ones. Let me know if you don't find it and I will try.

Check out American Auto Wire.I was just on their web site a few days ago.They sell plugs,connectors,AND pins for the plugs.

They are not the series 56 connectors which are used in most of the other terminals. They are packard Twin Lock terminals.

I found them finally after searching with the info above about the packard brand.
