Tail lights

I am in the middle of a complete restoration 1969 z28 rs trying to hook up all the electrical Engine Runs YEA !! head lights work bright and dim, dome light works ,but no tail lights ,brake lights . does the tail light power come from the light switch if so what wire and where does it go from there. thanks for any help. rob

Okay two wiring diagrams for you to review.
Do you have rear flashers and turn signals?

Not sure what wire, but I think it does go through the headlight switch. Might be confusing with a diferent car. If so Im sorry. Something tells me that I had that prob with mine. It was in the switch.

found the brown wire it had been cut. the end going to the rear was hooked to the speed and tach lights a real wire bucher has been involved at some time. do you have a couple of diagrams of under dash .flasher and turn.thanks Rob
