Fuel sender

I am wanting to check my sending unit on a 69 z...what setting do I put my ohm meter and what should it read if I move the float up and down?

Ohms setting.

The sender should go from Zero to 90 Ohms as you move the arm. I don't remember which is Full and which is Empty.
