Headlamp Plug Pigtail

I can't guess why, but the plug for my right headlamp has been spliced in. The connection is poor so I need to cut it out, re-solder, insulate, etc. Problem is, the wires are a bit to short to work on. I can cut and add another piece of wire, but that is even sloppier. Does anyone know where I can get just a pigtail for a headlamp so I can simply splice in a new (or used) one? Thanks

Pull the plug off the headlight. Remove the terminals and add new ones with longer wires. Then you can make only one connection for each wire.

Re: Headlamp Plug Pigtail

I thought about that but figured it would be harder to find a few individual terminals that fit. Thanks

Re: Headlamp Plug Pigtail

The terminals are Packard 59. You can get them and some color coded wire and put the splice up further in the loom. Just make sure you get the correct terminals, I think the lefts are double and the rights are single.
