67 camaro hide a way lites

my hideaway lites work fine but i find i am drawing from the battery when everything is shut off, where do i start looking? Does the diode have anything to do with it?? Any help would be greatlly appr.

I'm no expert but had a similar issue with my 67. So I started at the fuse block removing one fuse at a time and testing each until I found which circuit was the culprit. At least you narrow it down. My ended up being a bad ground on the horn.

The best troubleshooting method is remaove a battery cable and insert a light.
Glowing, heavy current draw.
Dim glow, aftermarket radio or other device drawing 'keep alive' current due to clock function, presets, etc.
No glow, good.
Another dim glow could be a leaky alternator diode, might disconnect the red wire on BATT stud.
