Drivers rear blinker issue.

68 SS/RS, all lights work until the engine is started. Everything works except the drivers REAR blinker, both bulbs, and brake lights on drivers side, both bulbs. All other lights, blinkers, flashers work. I have however noticed the dash lights dancing a little when the car is idling and does ok above idle.

Any ideas what the gremlin is?

Re: Drivers rear blinker issue.

Turn signals use the same filament as brake lights, and both power goes through the turn signal switch and since both brake lights work, grounds are good.
Front blinkers work, as they each go through their own circuit through the t/sig sw.
Rears do also,. So you might check for power at the steering column connector for rear blinker power.
No power, bad t/sig sw or poor connection, or poor connection at the body connector in the drvr kick panel.
