What Is This?

Just parting out a severely rotted 67 Camaro and I noticed this box that is about 12" long mounted to the right rear wheel house in the trunk area. The wiring ran under the carpet to the center of the dash however it was not plugged into anything.
I guess I need to know if this is aftermarket or an original part.
Model Number 7284742_A Serial Number 52257-2
Any help is appreciated.

Re: What Is This?

I am not 100% sure but more than likely that is a Delco reverb unit for the sound system.

Re: What Is This?

Thank you for the quick replies. I did try to attach some photos but it did not work??
The photos of the reverb unit are indeed the same, I will look for the switch so I have the complete set up.
Thank you.
