Console conversion wiring

I am going to convert my column shift to floor shift. Console and quicksilver shifter are on the way. I still want to retain the NSS and the backup light functions ( switches are on shifter).

Ive read the posts on tapping in to the wiring to run it to the new shifter but while surfing I found this,

http://www.heartbeatcitycamaro.com/s...o-gauges-1969/

Is this all I need for wiring conversion, NSS, backup, gear indicator light etc??? Looking at the pic it doesnt look like the harness is long enough to get back to the base of the steering column, and if it is what does the connector, connect to. I took a look under the dash and I dont see where it would connect.

Other than the wiring are there any other hints and tips?

Thanks

Re: Console conversion wiring

I would call American Auto wire and get a harness from them. They "Should" be able to fix you up on connector's and everything else you may need.
