console wiring

I acquired a new aaw console wiring harness After the harness is pluged into the main harness the connector moves a little ( it is not as tight as the original console harness ) and it moves enough to disconnect the alternator gauge as it moves yes both of the clips are in all of the way any thoughts bad harness? any thoughts on how to fix it thanks

Do you still have the old harness? You can take the metal end off the alternator wire and install it on the AAW harness it should fit tight then.

You can make the female connecter a bit more snug with a length of electrical tape on edge of one side. You will have to see what amount of tape does the trick for you.
